Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Rod Rig Floorhand (Class 1 or Class 3) to join our Valued Clients team in the Grande Prairie area. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to safety, teamwork, and high standards in oil and gas well servicing operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist with rig-up and rig-down of rod rig equipment
Handle rods, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
Support rod rig operations under the direction of the operator and supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and client-specific requirements
Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
Previous experience as a rod rig floorhand or in oilfield well servicing
Valid H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, and CSO (or willingness to obtain)
Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Commitment to safety and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the Grande Prairie region
Familiarity with rod pumping systems and downhole equipment
Additional oilfield safety certifications
Work Environment:
This role is field-based and requires working outdoors in remote locations. The position involves physical labor, extended hours, variable weather conditions, and strict compliance with safety standards.
