The Seat
Finishing is the last pass on the job and the one everyone sees. You cut and trim to final grade, shape slopes and ditches, and leave a clean surface the next crew can build on. Operators who can hold grade and finish clean on a dozer are the ones we want to hear from.
What You'll Do
  • Operate a dozer on finish work: cut, trim and fine grade to final elevation
  • Work to grade stakes, survey hubs and grade checks to hit plan tolerances
  • Shape and finish slopes, ditches, pads and road subgrade
  • Spread and level material in thin, even lifts for a clean final surface
  • Complete circle checks and greasing, and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Work safely around other equipment, trucks and ground crews, and take part in hazard assessments and safety meetings
What You Bring
  • Proven dozer experience, with real seat time on finish grade, not just rough pushing
  • The ability to hold grade and finish to stakes and plan
  • Basic mechanical awareness, including circle checks and greasing
  • A safety-first approach to running equipment around trucks and ground crews
Why Operators Take This Job
The rate is posted. $35 an hour, up front.
LOA paid. $200 a day living out allowance.
Your truck gets paid. $175 a day truck allowance for bringing your own truck.
Benefits
  • Overtime opportunities based on operational requirements
  • Life insurance plus AD&D with critical illness and cancer coverage
  • Extended health: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, vision, and paramedical including mental health
