Shift Schedule: Project-based scheduling; Monday to Saturday availability expected

Job Overview: GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Pipefitter to join our Valued Clients team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This is a temporary position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The project involves multi-year oil and gas construction, including both pre-fabrication modules and on-site installation.

Responsibilities:

Interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan pipe system layouts.
Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems on prefabricated modules and construction sites.
Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using appropriate tools and methods.
Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and functionality.
Adhere to all site-specific safety procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with other trades and supervisors to maintain productivity and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in pipefitting or industrial construction.
Knowledge of piping systems, isometric drawings, and blueprint reading.
Valid safety certifications including CSTS, H2S Alive, and WHMIS.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of field construction protocols.
Physically capable of working in demanding field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Alberta Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or Red Seal equivalent.
Prior experience in modular prefabrication and oil and gas construction projects.
Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry certifications.

Work Environment:

Outdoor construction environment with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Work involves climbing, lifting, and prolonged periods of standing.
Use of hand and power tools required; appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.
