Wage/Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 annually, plus company truck
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours Per Day: 8 to 10 hours

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one NCSO Safety Officer with a civil construction background to join our Valued Clients team in Calgary, AB. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. Occasional travel to out-of-town job sites will be required based on project needs.
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor safety programs and procedures at the project site.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Maintain detailed safety documentation and records.
Qualifications:
National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in safety roles within civil construction environments.
Strong understanding of provincial occupational health and safety regulations.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid/CPR certification.
Experience with safety software or reporting tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
COR auditing experience is an asset.
Work Environment:
Field-based construction project sites in Calgary and occasionally in surrounding regions.
Outdoor work in variable weather conditions.
Use of standard personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Base salary: $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
