Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Entry-Level Floorhand (Class 1 or Class 3 Driver) to join our Valued Clients team working on service rigs and rod rigs across Alberta. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence, teamwork, and maintaining a strong safety culture in the oilfield environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the rig crew with daily operations on service rigs and rod rigs.
Handle tubing, rods, casing, and other oilfield equipment safely and efficiently.
Support rig-up and rig-down operations as directed by the Driller or Rig Manager.
Maintain a clean and organized rig floor and worksite.
Participate in safety meetings and follow all company and client safety procedures.
Conduct basic inspections of equipment and report hazards or maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license.
Previous oilfield experience.
Reliable personal transportation to travel to job sites.
Ability to work long shifts in physically demanding environments.
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications.
Previous experience on service rigs or rod rigs.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with oilfield tools and equipment.
Work Environment:
Field-based work on service rigs and rod rigs throughout Alberta.
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
Rotational schedules with extended shifts depending on project requirements.
