Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Industrial Laborer to join our Valued Clients team near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a camp-based Temporary position with an expected start date in early April. This opportunity is ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence, safety, and teamwork in a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lay out and install geocells/top cell systems for the construction of haul truck roads

• Assist with ground preparation and material placement

• Perform general labour duties as required to support road-building operations

• Follow all site safety protocols and participate in safety meetings

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Valid H2S Alive certification

• Valid CSO (Common Safety Orientation)

• Valid First Aid certification

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in road building or heavy civil construction

• Experience working in oil sands or remote industrial sites

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Work Environment:
This is a camp-based position near Fort McMurray. Transportation will be provided from Edmonton to site. The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting and working around heavy equipment in an active construction environment. Strict adherence to safety standards and the use of personal protective equipment is required at all times.
