Location: Near Fort St. John, BC

Rotation Options:

  • 7 on, 7 off
  • 14 on, 14 off

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 4th Class Power Engineer Gas Plant Operator for a camp position near Fort St. John, BC. This role requires a strong understanding of gas plant operations, maintenance, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote camp environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain gas plant equipment and systems in accordance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
  • Monitor plant performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of plant operations and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Valid 4th Class Power Engineer certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in gas plant operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Subcontractors must have their own vehicle.
