Job Overview
GrizzlyTrek is seeking a Strategic Buyer to support our growing procurement and supply chain operations. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a strategic mindset, supplier relationship expertise, and experience in managing procurement processes for complex operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing cost, quality, and supply continuity while supporting long-term organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Evaluate and qualify new suppliers across local and international markets.
Lead contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms.
Collaborate with engineering, logistics, finance, and sales teams on procurement planning.
Analyze market trends to anticipate price shifts and supply chain risks.
Support the development of pricing models and procurement forecasts.
Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Coordinate initial orders with manufacturing teams and ensure alignment with project timelines.
Oversee RFP processes with clear documentation of technical and commercial requirements.
Incorporate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability considerations into sourcing activities.
Track and report procurement performance through KPIs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and procurement analytics.
Fluency in French and English—written and spoken.
Experience with technical drawings and Engineering Change Requests (ECR) is a strong asset.
Familiarity with global sourcing and contract negotiation best practices.
