The Role

GrizzlyTrek is hiring experienced Reinforcing Ironworkers for full-time, permanent employment in Calgary, Alberta. You will place and install reinforcing steel on commercial, residential and infrastructure projects in all regions.
This is a journeyman level seat. You bring at least 3 years of hands-on rebar experience, and you help the apprentices on your crew grow.

What You'll Do

Place and install reinforcing steel on commercial, residential and infrastructure projects
Place and secure rebar in horizontal and vertical formworks
Read and interpret detail sheets and drawings
Provide direction and mentorship to apprentices

What You Bring

At least 3 years of experience placing and installing rebar
Proficiency placing and securing rebar in horizontal and vertical formworks
Proficiency reading and interpreting detail sheets and drawings
Ability to provide direction and mentorship to apprentices
A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
